Linsey’s Secret Garden series, inspired by the hero print described above, is an ongoing body of work that honors the idea of creating our own safe havens. Intentionally delicate, this collection of patterns encourages us to protect our personal sanctuaries from negative thoughts and outside opinions while emphasizing their role in supporting our mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
The collection includes art prints, clothing designs, and patterns for walls, fabrics, and home goods, created using various materials like watercolor, charcoal, and digital drawing.
A NOTE FROM LINSEY
This collection was lovingly created with compassion and courage, taking into consideration the many internal and external influences on our bodies, our minds, and our hearts, and the importance of finding refuge within ourselves. This print celebrates one particularly beautiful and private garden whose vitality and self-governance continue to become more and more at risk. It is my hope that this series reminds us that our gardens are beautiful, critical to our survival, deserving of autonomy, and worth protecting from the invasive weeds trying to suppress them.
