Distant Lullaby, 24" x 36"
An original charcoal and pastel on wood by Linsey Gray Puckett, framed and ready to hang. January 2025.
This work has been finished with an archival, non-yellowing cold wax made with 100% beeswax and helps eliminate light reflection for easier viewing.
Due to the nature of the materials used, slight imperfections and the potential for subtle patina overtime are part of the artwork, adding another layer of authenticity to each one-of-a-kind piece.

Handcrafted Poplar frame, ready to hang without hardware (adaptable to a variety of mounting hardware as desired)
Artwork dimensions: 24” x 36” x 1-3/4”

INSPIRATION
Much like finding one’s way through the fog, this process behind my charcoal and pastel work has helped me navigate the inarticulate. Acknowledging suppressed emotions and the unclear path through them. Incredibly uncomfortable, yet peaceful. [...] Mental landscapes of my return to self and the restoration of abandoned dreams. A reminder that some of life’s most beautiful discoveries are made through moments of discomfort and difficulty. A reminder to embrace the unknown.”
A NOTE FROM LINSEY
For me, these pieces soften the edge of uncertainty, the creative process meditative and, at times, cathartic. Whether you purchase a piece or not, I hope seeing these works and hearing my story inspires hope in your own journey. Having the work in your home is a bonus. — Linsey
