INSPIRATION
Much like finding one’s way through the fog, Linsey’s art practice serves as a way to meditate and navigate the inarticulate. In a recent shift from realism and a design career depending on preceision, she’s allowing herself more room to play, challenging perfectionism with intuitive marks and unpredictable mediums. Combining soft pastels with homemade charcoal from collected twigs, her abstract landscapes on unfinished wood reflect the solemn beauty of WNC’s landscape—acknowledging that some of life’s most beautiful discoveries come through moments of discomfort. A reminder to embrace the unknown. Learn more.
A NOTE FROM LINSEY
For me, this series softens the edge of uncertainty, the creative process meditative and, at times, cathartic. There is vulnerability not just in the work itself but in me sharing something so divergent from the rest of my portfolio to date. Whether you purchase a piece or not, I hope seeing these works and hearing my story inspires hope in your own journey. Having the work in your home is a bonus. — Linsey
